Our Primal Philosophy – A Summary By Our CEO & Chairman Anthony J. Archer

by Carmen in Uncategorized

Throughout history, mankind has proven ingenuity, as individuals and in small groups, sufficient for the immediate requirement, but rarely are these solutions viable for the long term. Even in fulfilling our most primal of needs, to cultivate food has thus far proven to be limited in its longevity. The Green Revolution of the 1960s was a turning point in modern agriculture that heralded a drastic increase in global production, saving one billion people from starvation. Although these developments enabled our rising population to thrive well into a new millennium, farming techniques now rely on an unsustainable amount of water, energy, and agrochemicals. The environmental cost of conventional farming techniques is now mounting with irrigation systems pumping water from reservoirs faster than they are being recharged, toxic herbicides and insecticides accumulating in ground and surface waters and chemical fertilizers disrupting ecosystems and getting into our food chain. The result is an unsustainable situation that is hastily becoming inadequate to meet the laws of compounding growth of an exponentially increasing global population. On the face of things, the outlook is grim. We appear to be heading for a stark reality, endangering our very existence upon this planet as we pillage the earth as if there is no tomorrow.

However, we believe that mankind’s ingenuity is increasing, that we can find a way to stave off this Malthusian catastrophe. All three groups of society will play a role; the general populous, politicians and big business all have a part to play in creating the solutions to our challenges in the following capacities:

People power

Internet use has catapulted over the last 25 years from non-existence to just over 3 billion active users worldwide today. With 205 billion emails sent, 8.4 billion YouTube videos watched and 3.5 billion Google searches conducted every single day, we are now living in a society that is ever more informed, educated and empowered. The population at large is no longer willing to accept commercial profit at the price of the earth’s resources. They are demanding good business or no business at all, which is very powerful in fueling the world of change that is so necessary at this time.

Political governance

Politicians across the globe are taking a stand against the use of synthetics where a viable alternative is available. They are creating regulatory restrictions for pesticide, fertilizer and antibiotic use across the agri industry and are offering incentives for conversion.

Evolution of big business

Big corporations possess many of the characteristics of dinosaurs. They are big, strong and powerful behemoths. However, they are not nimble innovators that can quickly change direction. Charles Darwin asserted “It is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives; but the species that survives is the one that is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself”. It is very difficult for big business to cultivate a culture of innovation from within as disruption counters the very philosophy of organized compliance. Therefore, it has found an alternative way to adapt; big corporations have become reliant upon entrepreneurs to innovate, take the risks and spend the time and resources on new ideas and solutions, it then purchases the successful innovations and expands upon them to increase impact and reach.

Collective Power

The solution exists in our collective. We are interdependent upon this planet and therefore cooperation is an essential ingredient to its survival (and ability to sustain human life). The creation and utilization of the internet is the tool to access the necessary collective cooperation. Fortunately, the internet allows the compounding growth of human population to not only expand the problem, but also expand the solution.

This enhanced communication is creating a society that is no longer prepared to allow antiquated, damaging and unsustainable practices to ruin our earth. The appetite for sustainable solutions has never been higher, as the reality and harsh consequences of unsustainability draw ever closer. The population is communicating and sharing both the challenges and the solutions available.

Investing in neem is about investing in mankind’s future, understanding the movement, the culture shift, being part of the solution and profiting from it.

Primal Group is designed to be disruptive, innovative and to manifest the nucleus of change that can then be sold to big business, whom can then expand this restorative and profitable concept to its greater fulfillment whilst evolving their dinosauric entities to survival and continue profiting from our innovation.
